Tim Bolton arrived at Happy Hill Farm in the spring of 1983, an exceptionally bright and emotionally reserved young man with a complicated family life. During Tim’s four years at Happy Hill Farm, his growth—physically, spiritually, emotionally, and academically—was phenomenal. He grew taller and stronger, spending time in athletic activities and eating a healthy diet.
After leaving the campus in 1987, Tim attended college on a scholarship and then embarked on a successful IT career. He and his wife, Kim, with whom he has three sons, now live near Happy Hill Farm and are active volunteers at the very place, Kim says, “that had the most impact on Tim’s life.” Their children even attend NCTA as day students!
