Every fall, we take time to pray for each student and teacher before school begins. I hope you’ll join us today.
Our new students don’t know what to expect. Many are nervous or shy, so we pray for courage and an easy transition both academically and socially. We also pray for God to work in their hearts—for many, this is the first time that they will ever hear about Jesus’ love.
Elementary-age students are just beginning their educational journey. We pray for a great excitement about learning, for each one to discover their God-given gifts and talents. This is the age when a large portion of their personalities is molded, so we pray for a firm foundation of biblical character.
Middle-school students are often searching for a place to belong, and we pray that they will find unconditional acceptance here at Happy Hill Farm. Join us in praying for deep friendships to develop, along with a solid sense of self-worth in Jesus Christ.
Our high school students face exceptional pressure as they prepare to launch out into the world. Pray as we challenge them to reach their full potential, getting ready to face the rigorous academic standards of college. They are working toward scholarships and other big dreams. We support them in prayer, recognizing that God will honor their efforts!
We pray for every teacher by name. I cannot express how grateful we are for these men and women. They serve our students with fierce determination and great compassion, giving of their time and energy to ensure that every child has a bright future.
And we pray for you.
The great majority of our students are on scholarships provided by men and women like you who believe in helping underprivileged children reach their God-given potential. Every year, God provides for the needs of our students—from food to clothing, school supplies to facilities—through your gifts. We thank God for your willingness to love these boys and girls like we do!
Sincerely,
Lucas Shipman
