Jet and Reagan fit right into life on the farm. As part of their daily routine, both NCTA students dove into the FFA (Future Farmers of America) program, raising and showing animals in stock shows across Texas.
Reagan jumped at every opportunity offered in our agriculture program … from the Farm Radio Broadcast Team to our prestigious Floriculture Judging team. She also played varsity volleyball, participated in cheerleading and drama, and served as a student ambassador for Happy Hill Farm. Talk about a well-rounded young lady!
We’re so proud of Reagan—she just earned a college scholarship from the San Antonio Livestock Exposition (SALE). Soon she will be stepping onto the grounds of Dallas Baptist University to chase her dream of entering the medical field.
Jet also received a college scholarship after succeeding in both regional and state livestock competitions through FFA. He loves raising and training animals—especially goats!
During his time here, he served as FFA chapter secretary and student advisor, and he competed on our Farm Radio Broadcast Team. He also participated in competitive athletics, playing varsity golf. But Jet didn’t stop there! He even served on student council and acted as a student ambassador for Happy Hill Farm.
In the fall, Jet will begin pursuing a degree in business, using all of the leadership skills he learned at Happy Hill Farm. We can’t wait to see what this determined young man will do in the years to come!
