Dear Friend of Happy Hill Farm,
I am so excited for the opportunities in front of us in 2021. You may be surprised by my writing that—as with many ministries, 2020 presented significant challenges for us at Happy Hill Farm. All fundraising events were canceled. A water main break caused significant damage at the school. New educational requirements for social distancing and virtual learning challenged our teachers and staff. And some students were forced to stay home, unable to return due to travel restrictions.
Through all of these challenges, God has been faithful through your support of Happy Hill Farm and the children who come here to learn, to be loved, and to hear about the salvation they can have through Jesus Christ. Because of your support, we overcame unprecedented financial and educational challenges. Thank you!
Things are slowly returning to “normal” though education remains modified. Many of the international students who were unable to return last year have now returned to campus. I am so thankful for all the new faces we are welcoming in 2021.
My grandfather’s vision for Happy Hill Farm was simple, yet profound; he wanted a place for kids who have a lot of potential but not a lot of opportunity to flourish and become successful young people. The Lord has blessed this vision, and He continues to do so into 2021.
I want you to know, in 2020, you changed hundreds of young lives. There are so many wonderful stories from this past year, and one of my favorites is shared in this newsletter. I encourage you to read the update about Korede. She has overcome so much to realize her full potential, and now is planning to give back all that she has been given and more. Your prayers, gifts, and telling others about Happy Hill Farm makes these stories possible.
I have seen childcare facilities all over the United States, and none are quite like Happy Hill Farm. Because Happy Hill Farm does not receive annual tax funding, we can openly share the Gospel and teach our students real American values. Thank you for making Happy Hill Farm an educational beacon of freedom and faith. The work we do together is making generational changes.
