THE MONIES YOU SEND TO HAPPY HILL FARM GO DIRECTLY TO CARE FOR THE CHILDREN
Happy Hill Farm Academy/Home's Founder, President/CFO, COO, and the Farm's Board of Directors believe strongly in financial accountability. The Farm utilizes the services of a recognized Certified Public Accountant and one of the Metroplex's largest law firms. Happy Hill Farm has an annual audit. Happy Hill Farm Academy/Home's Board meets throughout the year to review the monthly financial statements. Happy Hill Farm Children's Home is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Happy Hill Farm Academy is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is Happy Hill Farm's policy to use only a very small percentage of donations for fund-raising and information services. You will see that small percentage reflected in the graph above. While many non-profit agencies feel free to utilize up to 50% or more of their donations in fund-raising efforts, Happy Hill Farm has worked tirelessly to keep these promotional costs and administrative costs to the bare minimum.
Since Happy Hill Farm Academy/Home receives no State or Federal funds, nor any United Way monies, the Farm is totally dependent on the gifts from its friends in the private sector. That is why your gifts are so very important to Happy Hill Farm as it looks forward into the next century. You can see clearly that only modest amounts are spent for raising funds. |
