More Than One Way to Help!

Since Happy Hill Farm Academy receives no State or Federal tax monies, nor is the Academy part of the United Way, most of the funds to build and operate the program come from the private sector — people just like you. Donations are received from individuals, foundations, corporations, clubs, churches, and special events. No gift is too small. Hundreds and hundreds of caring people send gifts faithfully and regularly to support the deserving students at Happy Hill Farm Academy. Since Happy Hill Farm Academy is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all gifts to the Academy are tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.

Most of the students have little or no funding. Fees from the students and their families annually amount to a small percentage of the operating budget.

Help today, if you can. Every gift is greatly appreciated. You may wish to buy clothing, shoes, or school books. You can underwrite the 4-H program or athletics. If you wish, you can designate a particular program or need, or you can simply give a general gift to help with the daily operating budget.

Some people choose to give monthly gifts through the Farm’s Founders’ Association or the Godparent’s Club. This can be done on-line. Other friends use the Academy’s Honor and Memorial Gifts to support the students. Nearly everyone will lose a friend or loved one to death in the course of the year. Family and friends have birthdays or anniversaries. You may designate your gift to Honor a birthday or in Memory of a departed friend. A lovely card will be sent to the family in your name telling them that a gift has been made in memory or in honor of their loved one. No amount is divulged.

Others may wish to contribute toward the expansion of the Academy’s campus in preparation for increasing the student body to 250. Simply designate your gift for “campus expansion.“
