While in many traditional public schools programs in music and art are being reduced or eliminated entirely, both are an important part of the Happy Hill Farm Academy's curriculum. Choir and music are offered even to the elementary school children. Classes in a variety of instruments are being taught. There is an on-campus recording studio. The traveling choir serves as a powerful public relations tool and the students perform throughout the Metroplex and around the state. A student band performs regularly for the Sunday evening inspirational groups.
The Art Department has an extremely talented faculty who work in all of the mediums. Academy students consistently win ribbons and trophies for their art work in local and TAPPS competition. Students are given classes in art and art appreciation. |
