At Happy Hill Farm Academy/Home, the bar has been set very high. More than 80% of the Academy graduates are attending college or junior college throughout the state. The Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the same accrediting body for most of the Metropolitan areas better private and parochial schools. The faculty are all certified in their field. Most have many years of teaching experience. If a student wishes to attend college after graduating, the Academy staff will work diligently to obtain scholarships, grants, and aid to make that possible. In addition, to academic courses, vocational classes, driver's education, and foreign language are offered. Many students come several years behind grade level. Others suffer from learning difficulties. The Academy's unique learning environment, small classes and well-trained faculty are changing students lives. |
