Animal Agriculture

4-H
The 4-H program is designed for 7th-12th grade students to have the opportunity to learn responsibility and pride through raising an animal project. They raise a variety of species including sheep, goats, longhorn cattle, beef cattle, and pigs. The students care for, and exhibit, these animal projects at livestock shows around the state. In the past few show seasons, Happy Hill Farm Academy has experienced profound success. Students have placed market steers at both the San Antonio and the Houston livestock shows the last four years. They also compete, and consistently place, in the Herdsman competition at the Houston Livestock show, even winning the event in 2009.
