Head of School

Welcome to Happy Hill Farm Academy! It is with great excitement, as the Head of School, that I get a chance to share with you the vision and opportunities that exist within our “community of learners” at Happy Hill Farm Academy.

One of my favorite books in the Bible is Proverbs, as it frequently emphasizes instructing the young and guiding them toward a happy and prosperous life. Acquiring wisdom, and knowing how to avoid the pitfalls of folly, increases the likelihood for health and success. At Happy Hill Farm Academy, we understand the awesome task and responsibility to prepare students for a successful future, and we take that responsibility very seriously. It is our job to equip every student with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to succeed at the university level, and in life, as they learn in our classrooms and eventually leave our campus.

For almost four decades, Happy Hill Farm Academy has held a high standard for its boarding students. Now that the Academy has transitioned to include day students from surrounding communities, students from across the country, and international students from around the globe, the opportunities to positively impact our world through our diverse student body are astounding. Every student receives training in being honest, trustworthy, responsible, committed, and respectful. Scholarships and financial aid are offered to highly-motivated and deserving students, while at the same time, the Academy provides educational opportunities enabling every student to qualify for the best universities and colleges in our country.

In order to meet these goals for every student, Happy Hill Farm Academy has expanded its faculty and staff. Each one is not only educated and certified, but they are committed to a very high standard of excellence in every area of the educational experience. Academy students are taught with intensity, caring, and dedication from grades K-12.

Additionally, the faculty is committed to preparing students for higher education. Every teacher exhibits strong Christian character and places an emphasis on teaching and instructing students from a biblical perspective. The Academy’s expanded extracurricular activities and curriculum utilize instruction based upon a Christian worldview.

Happy Hill Farm Academy students must exhibit not only intelligence, but they must demonstrate a passion for learning and moving toward successful adulthood. With so many opportunities afforded them in academics, art, music, drama, athletics, agriculture, and other extracurricular activities, the future looks very bright for every Academy student!

As the Head of School, I am focused on a high standard of excellence in the Academy and will make every effort to enhance relationships within the community. Together – administrators, teachers, parents, and students — we will succeed. Everyone who has seen the campus at Happy Hill Farm Academy knows how special it is. The aesthetic beauty and blessings are evident to everyone; however, the true beauty of this campus lies in the people. What a wonderful place to call home and to call “my school.”
